On the dawn of 2007
Contemplation of a year gone by is at hand
Memories full of new experiences and knowledge
Ian learned to ride his bike in a fashion both fast and furious
Both writing and spelling in school
Evan growing leaps and bounds, with both steps and words
For me
beaches of the beautiful Caribbean bring warm thoughts of bliss
Oh to be back in the Yucatan Peninsula
seams a dream unforgotten that's passed me by
Business this year has improved from last
always good to move forward
Legendary Safari ride with dad has to be remembered
High among the clouds of the beaver mountains
Where herds of antelope run and play with visitors
Even challenging them to a race
Fish flow freely in native streams and man made lakes
Sage hen abound scattered among the tall brush
Bouncing bears collide with man and machine
Gas, unimportant until its gone
Memories to many to catalog
Hopefully this year they will be
May the new year hold new treasures and hidden adventures
fresh wisdom and healthy happiness

Christmas
Cyberspace can bring a family together
Christmas eve I spent the evening with my parents and siblings
They in Hurricane and I in Flower Mound
Scype allowed us to see and hear each other
I felt a little like Max Headroom
We played the steal a gift game
I ended with a lovely electric screwdriver
I started with a wonderful basketball
But sadly it was ripped from my cyberhands
Jessica is due with our 3rd boy Jan 4th
She is a trooper
Cant imagine carrying around a baby
And then giving birth
Much respect to mothers
The most sacred of all jobs
This weekend would be choice to bring a new life into the world
Three rug rats
How will we do it?
I guess the same way everyone else does
Christmas was simple this year
Not a lot of decorations
I missed not going home
Boys got everything they ever wanted and more
Ian's face was constantly stuck in excited mode
Evan's face had food caked on it and was constantly in eat mode
On Christmas eve we discused the true meaning of Christmas
Ian understands it's about the birth of Jesus
Christmas always a magical time of year
Now that its over
We look foward to a new year

Recorded History
A new goal I've decided to undertake
A journal
A cyber journal
One for the eons
Not one to really write much
History must be recorded however
Here among the 0's and 1's
Hopefully our time being will be remembered
