Autumn Falling

The cool wind has blown it's breeze
The boys love to play in the leaves

Ian & Even enjoy the simple
times, when life is understood.

Autumn always brings an air of change. Lets hope its for the good.

Blad Boise 08 Trip

We had a great trip to Dustin's town of Boise
A city by the river with trails of bikers
Green mountains cuddle her brown borders
Swimming, four wheeling, air gun shooting, river (freezing) rafting, bachie balling, football playing, picnicking, firework watching, hand and foot competing.

Father's Day 08

Arise to silence calm bright day
Day of Dad there is no grey
Day of Glory in Golf at the Tour 18
3 pars not to shlaaby
and something really 'happening'
Gifts o plenty and time alone
Remote control tie was the hit of the day
turn up the volume to see what they say
Barbecue the smell of Texas not small
Time with the boys the greatest gift of all
hand and hand with Gavin
around the church with story
Pretend battles and wrestling with Ian & Evan
end in my day of glory

Day 5

Eventually, We came to a chasm dark and wide
And drifted in silence through endless anemones
In shallow dreams
Life was beginning to take a shape
Water was warm as it hastened our enemies
This kind of world will start a little colony
This kind of earth will eat a little energy
This kind of thing needs a little secrecy
After thousands of years
Our priests have predicted you would come
You with your death that appears in no photograph
You watch the night sky
We bickered like fools amongst ourselves
We sought protection in artificial youth
In a sickening jump
I fell through the surface of my life
And I was cut back by the hollow comraderie
The planet was still
Nothing moved as it slept in space
I pulled on my suit and exited quietly

The Season of Soccer

Soccer smells of Saturday morning

Beaten grass fields of enthusiastic parents

Ian running/skipping to kick the ball

Cheers of encouragement
